We believe your data belongs to you. Here's exactly how we think about it and what we do about it.

1. We collect only what we need — and nothing more.

We ask for data only when it helps make the experience better for you. If we don't need it to deliver value, we don't collect it.

Examples:

  • If something is stored, it's either to personalize your experience or to help improve the product.
  • If you don't use a feature, we don't collect data related to it.

2. You're in control of your data.

You can see, export, and delete your data any time. No black boxes.

What this means:

  • You can request a copy of everything we've got.
  • You can delete your account and all associated data with one click.
  • We'll never hide important data settings in dark patterns or confusing menus.

3. We don't sell or share your data.

Your data will never be sold, rented, traded, or shared with third parties for marketing. Ever.

The only exceptions:

  • When we're legally required to (e.g., a valid court order).
  • When it's necessary to run core services (e.g., infrastructure providers) — and even then, they only get the minimum they need, and they can't use it for anything else.

4. We use encryption and secure storage by default.

We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Sensitive information is stored securely.

5. We design for privacy from the start.

Privacy isn't a feature we tack on — it's a principle baked into how we build.

Design choices include:

  • Local processing when possible (e.g., on-device AI, caching).
  • Anonymized analytics, if any, and only to improve the product.
  • Consent-first UX: no surprise data grabs or hidden trackers.

6. Transparency is non-negotiable.

If anything changes in how we handle your data, we'll let you know clearly and promptly. No buried updates or sneaky fine print.
